The Child of God Phone is but an important tool in the war against sin and media addiction. Of far greater importance is the love of God and family that motivates one to quit their addiction. Without love mattering more than lust, all the tools: prayer, the Bible, Mass, the sacraments, one on one accountability and all the rest are futile and meaningless. But once a decision to repent has been genuinely made, no tool is to be discarded. Catholics have an expression and promise that is made at the end of every confession to a priest: "I firmly resolve with the help of Thy Grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin." Christians have a simpler quote: "Flee fornication". I might add: "Flee all sin!" The Child of God Phone helps you to do just that. Since another person holds the controls over your iPhone or iPad, it makes it impossible for you to renege on your promise, at least while using your iPhone or iPad. There is always a way to sin. But it should not be so convenient!
